Morning walks with Rusty

Every morning Rusty takes one of us for a walk around the green belt area we just call the ponds. There are 3 ponds, 2 of them quite large and the views can be very scenic, especially on the cold mornings with the mist rising off the water. The first 2 pictures were taken mid October this year, just as it started to get chilly.

During the walk on Christmas morning we spotted the fisherman, a heron, that is often seen at the edge of the ponds, waiting patiently for food to swim by. The seagulls were also ‘dive bombing’ – obviously they were having more luck with that method – unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of that.

Today on our walk we just saw the sun rising over the trees, reflecting on the ponds – so we took a picture, hope you enjoy sharing our walks with us, let us know.
